Scott Nilsen was born and raised in Birmingham. He attended Auburn University and The University of Alabama-Birmingham, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance. Scott has worked in the mortgage financing industry since 1996 and has been a loan originator with First Federal since 1999. He holds the title of Accredited Mortgage Banker issued by the Mortgage Bankers Association of Alabama.
Scott enjoys the pleasure of helping people attain the “American Dream” of home ownership, and he feels that his best attribute is making the loan process streamlined and convenient for his home buyers.
Scott is married to his high school sweetheart, and they have three children. He is an active member of his church, and his hobbies include golf, tennis, grilling, and spending time with family.
